À propos

Les Jardins Numériques is a french association which has been involved in the fight against the digital divide in Paris and its suburbs for more than fourteen years. The team is composed of the users that join the cause, the volunteers, people who made the project live, the partners and other associations. Anyone can join the cause to help it develop. The aim is to share your knowledge in a space dedicated to exchanges and evolution.

Along the last years, this association has implemented a platform dedicated to digital exhibition, Museocube, which allows for interactive virtual visits with a 360° experience, and has collaborated with the CNAM for the project Passerelle de Mémoires, which collects stories from Parisian residents with a migrant family background.

Les Jardins Numériques signed us because they wanted to develop a web platform to provide strangers with advice about moving in another country. This is our mission.

Les Jardins Numériques signed us to do a project that consists in creating a web platform that allows a stranger to settle in properly and easily in a new country. Our multinational team is mobilized to conclude this project in eight days. We come from France, Bulgaria and Greece and we do remote work.

Our name is Settle In. We chose it because it means “to stay somewhere we were not”. The goal of the project is to create a warm and happy place where everyone can learn peacefully, following their own rhythm, and integrate themselves into the new society they live in.
